Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM or AAMS®
Professional Designation Program
The growing emphasis on building lasting client relationships and gathering assets under management is changing the way the investment community conducts business. Many of the country’s top investment firms were involved in developing the program, making it uniquely suited to the needs of today’s investment professionals.
In this course you’ll discover a logical progression of topics, enabling you to think in terms of clients’ total financial situations, not just their investments. At the conclusion of your studies, your abilities to identify opportunities and employ strategies is enhanced not only with regard to investments, but also related to planning for insurance, tax, retirement, and estate issues. The result is that you’ll be able to develop stronger, lasting client relationships.
The materials include real-life examples, figures, and tables translating investment concepts into everyday work experience—making what you learn immediately applicable to your business.
Upcoming Online MENTOR Class Schedule
Most students complete their studies within 2 months. The AAMS® Program may allow you to earn up to 3 semester credit hours toward a bachelor's degree and between 41–45 hours of continuing education credit with some organizations.
Starting January 1, 2010, the College will require new students enrolling in our professional designation programs (AAMS®, AWMA®, CMFC®, CRPC®, CRPS®, and RP®) to take their end-of-course examination at a licensed testing center. The examination fee is $100 per test and is collected at the time of enrollment. Please contact us with any questions, 1-800-237-9990 x 3
The curriculum is based on a client-centered, problem-solving method using case studies to give you a hands-on approach to the material. Also included are open-ended, multiple-choice, and case analysis related questions to help you prepare for the exam and equip you with knowledge to help your clients. The College's highly qualified, full-time faculty is available via telephone, e-mail, and fax to support you in your studies.
