Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM or CRPC®
Professional Designation Program
Financial advisors face an increasingly complex onslaught of retirement planning questions as aging baby boomers look for investments to meet their lifestyle needs in 10 years, 20 years, and beyond, as well as determining when they can actually retire. You’ll find these clients demand a high level of trust from their advisors. You can build this trust and add to your expertise and credibility with the CRPC® mark after your name.
The topics in CRPC® are structured in logical order, allowing you to examine the entire retirement process—from start to finish—via real client situations and models defining useful retirement techniques. You’ll gain the tools and expertise you need to advise clients through the process with confidence.
The course materials define a “road map to retirement,” enabling you to focus on clients’ pre-and post-retirement needs, as well as issues related to asset management and estate planning. You’ll discover practical knowledge that is immediately applicable to this evolving planning niche.
Upcoming Online MENTOR Class Schedule
Most students complete their studies within 2 months. The CRPC® Program may also help you earn other credentials. Completion will allow you to earn up to 3 semester credit hours toward a bachelor's degree and between 40–45 hours of continuing education credit with some organizations.
The curriculum is based on a client-centered, problem-solving method using case studies to give you a hands-on approach to the material. Also included are open-ended, multiple-choice, and case analysis related questions to help you prepare for the exam and equip you with knowledge to help your clients. The College's highly qualified, full-time faculty is available via telephone, e-mail, and fax to support you in your studies.
