CFP® Certification Professional Education Program
Scholarships

DAVID M. KING MERIT SCHOLARSHIP

Awarded annually to an individual who is new to the financial planning field (less than five years) and who shows significant potential for industry leadership.

This scholarship honors the achievements of David M. King, who held the position of board chairman at three major financial planning organizations: The College for Financial Planning (1983-1985); The Institute for Certified Financial Planners (1979-1980); and the first Chairman of the Certified Financial Planner Board (1985-1987).

This scholarship covers all costs associated with enrollment in the College’s self-study CFP® Certification Professional Education Program excluding textbooks.

David M. King Merit Scholarship Nomination Form

NAUHEIM MERIT SCHOLARSHIP  

Awarded annually to an individual with five or more years of experience in the financial planning profession to assist them in satisfying the educational requirement for CFP® certification.

This scholarship is in honor of the late Ferdinand Nauheim, a founding father of the College and the second chairman of its Board of Regents. 

In choosing the recipient, the College reviews nominations of individuals who have already achieved outstanding success in financial planning and who show promise of being future industry leaders.

This scholarship covers all costs associated with enrollment in the College’s self-study CFP® Certification Professional Education Program excluding textbooks.
